Motorcycle Rental - Wash DC Area - March 2012
Hey All,
I'm a young professional (late 20's) from southern California who will be in the Silver Spring, MD area for March 2012 for a 4-week conference. I own a 2002 CBR600 F4i and am looking for a motorcycle rental for the month of March. I am responsible and have an M1 motorcycle license.
I don't knee drag and don't race, I'm just looking for a bike to get me to the conference and to go sightseeing with. I've never laid my own bike down.
Please contact me if you'd be willing to rent me your bike.
Thanks!
Here's a pic of my CBR...

I think you're going to find it difficult to find a member that will be willing to rent out their bike to you...especially not knowing you personally.
You're better off contacting a motorcycle renting agency like Eaglerider.com & making a reservation. You can also contact the local motorcycle dealerships in the area you'll be visiting, for recommendations. Keep in mind that they'll reserve significant funds on your credit card as security. This can range from $1000-3000. So it might be a good idea to give yourself plenty of time to arrange it w/ your cc company as well.
Good luck. Hope you find something. Have a good trip.
