I know it's a sin to be talking about having fun while going in a straight line on motorcycle forums, but I've been a couple times and I gotta admit... it's fun as all hell. However, the times I've been there it's always been seasoned guys on 'busas or straight race bikes. As official trackdays are not yet practical for me, these are pretty much close to the next best thing without having to look over my shoulder for cops.

It'd be nice to see some more bikes there to shoot the **** with in the staging lanes and compare notes... and of course do some legal "street racing".

Oh and as a sidenote, every time I've gone to Island I've gotten a good 6+ runs in.

 

i havent ran a bike down a track yet, and the best part is thats its legal. im down for that.. i didnt know there was a small strip close by. raylee let me know next time you gear up to go the the track.
