On August, 15 2008 Hopkinton, N.H., police officer Shawn Powers was killed when he was struck from behind by a car while riding his motorcycle.
Powers was traveling west on Route 202 early Thursday morning, after working the night shift, when Powers' motorcycle was hit from behind by a BMW. A Honda Civic traveling in the same direction then hit Powers. Sean Powers, 24, of Hillsboro, N.H. was pronounced dead at the scene on Route 202 in Henniker. Power became a Marine after graduation and served two tours in Iraq.

Meeting point will be at the McDonalds in Goffstown Saturday July, 25 at 8:30 a.m. We will then ride to the registration site at the Hillsboro-Deering Elementary School. Let's show our support for someone who was deticated in serving his country and his community.
