Yee Haw from Colorado gurl
Hi!
Wish I had some cool pics to put up, but I'm still working on taking pics of myself while riding... will let you all know how that works out!
Joined the forum looking for some info/help.... This is my second street bike, I'm motocrosser who couldn't get enough! lol
Anyway when I bought this bike used, it has a little damage so I was thinking about changing the color by buying new plastics for it. Of all the bikes I've rode I LOVE my CBR and don't think I want to buy a new bike just for the 'looks' (plus I hate those new mirrors/signals YUCK!)... so....
Any ideas, thoughts, helpful info... should I just order it from the local shop that sponsors me? Or from some site on the net?
thanks!!!!

Welcome aboard. Definitely post up the RC51
Your sponsor might get you cheaper prices. If you go into the dealer, it won't be pretty. OEM you can try http://www.servicehonda.com or http://ronayers.com for OEM plastics. Will be cheaper than the dealer. You can try fleabay for aftermarket plastics. But when they arrive 2 months later, are the wrong color, have gotten broken in transit and / or don't fit you were warned

Thank you for the info! My sponsor is a mx sponsor, but he said they would do me like 10 to 15% on the parts.... I found some plastics for 599... but that price alone makes me concerned, since I know they are much more!
