Default WHAT'S UP PEOPLE!!

I bought my first bike (99 CBR 900RR, Orange-Black-White)in July of 2004 but didn't get the chance to ride it to often due to being deployed to Iraq until last week. Now I'm back and ready to get into some action. I have been riding off and on for a few years and finally bought me a bike. I loved the stocky look of the CBR and now I'm in luv with it. Will take pics and post later, til then, much luv fo the Double R.

Thanks for the welcome. While I'm at it I need a few tips please. Since my bike was sitting for so long I need a new battery, since I was in Sears today I checked with them and they wanted 100 bucks for a battery (99 CBR 900RR). Is this a good price or rip-off? I'm new to the riding community so I have no clue. Plus I need a new front/back tire. Does anyone have any good links for batteries and/or tires? All help appreciated.

See that link at the top of the page for Apex Motorsports?? I have tires in stock for your bike ( yes the 16"!!) and batteries too!! but that battery price is realistic, I will see what I can do for you on the price ( but I am at home right now and now at the shop)

I couldn't have said it better myself XLSR. Welcome to the boards my1st900. Great choice for a bike. I'm partial to the 900RR myself. Check walmart for your battery. I picked up a new battery for my 900RR there for about $60.

Thanks for the welcome. Check this out, has anyone ever had to put the acid inside of a battery. I went to Pep Boys and Wal-Mart and found myself a battery at a much more reasonable price($30 and $50), but you have to put the acid inside yourself. They way they explained it seemed easy, just asking to see if anyone actually has done it before.
