Well i signed up a lil while ago and just have sat back reading and researching all about the cbr untill i finally got my baby. Im 19 years old have always loved bikes..but was into the import car scene...so 3 weeks ago i gave it all up and traded my Gsr for my friends 02 954 and his truck..the bike has almost 8k miles on her. This is my first bike and i got my license about 3 and a half weeks ago, and yea everyone told me not to start out with a big bike, but i tend to get used to somethings and adapt and learn quickly..and i dont try crazy things unitll im comfortable...so for the last 3 weeks the bike has been amazing, i cant stop riding it. Welcome to the board! That bike is sweeeeeeet dude! Love the 2Bros pipe -- I think they sound the deepest and best of any aftermarket. I sure don't envy you having to keep those polished wheels clean. [8D] You might look into taking a MSF course near you. It's a great course -- teaches you a lot of useful skills in a short amount of time. And if you drop the bike no worries -- it's theirs!

 

Welcome to the boards man. That is a sweet looking 954. It is alot of bike for a beginner, just make sure to take it easy on the throttle and definatly take a MSF class near you if you haven't. Also make sure you wear your gear. It can make the difference between life & death. Welcome to the addiction [8D]

 

welcome to the board, im a new member here as well and just picked my bike up last sat. its 02 954 as well same color and all but all stock not as much chrome.
