well,i suppose i never made a "new member" thread lol so here it is.......
Saying HELLO from the D.c. metro area! im into mx&anything street pretty much,ANYTHING w/a throttle that twists,really! &i ride w/Bmorex! quick question,b/c i know my posts are "limited" until a certain point: Anyone know of,or have any downsides2share about the 08+ cbr 6rr&1000rr??? im looking2buy something new-used come spring&cant make a decision!! im sure i'll never use the 1000 to its fullest potential as a "streeter",but i've ridden a handful of diff 600's&dont want2get "bored" down the road. any input is valuable,thnx!

lol your not limited on posts you just cant post in the for sale sections until you have 100 posts...

off topic posts dont count towards your post count...

as for the downsides... ive heard of all 1000rr's have a oil consumption issue other than that everyone loves em...

welcome... btw your going to get brutalized for that grammar haha

haha Z be nice to the new comer. As for a 1000 or 600, the decision is up to you. I dont think you will get bored with a 600. If you do I would recommend track days. you may use the power in the straights and slight turns but once you use the power getting on the track will really show you how to use it. you riding can always improve and the more you learn the more potential you will be able to use out of the bike, then and only then would I recommend going to a liter bike.

I started on a liter bike and wish I would have started on a 600 to learn how to ride because as it is right now i can barley push my bike to what it can do..

lmao!!!! yea, i know some other forums are big on grammar&such also,but its my way of typing quickly on the screen lol lazy i guess?! i dont like being in front of these screens for long,i get antsy looking/seeing all the bike talk! smh SORRY FOLKS! lol every now&then,yall will notice my typing will change from the "slang" to the "proper",so bare w/me.

@LJ-i hear u on that,thought about it overnight&decided maybe the 6. cuz honestly,im not sure when ima make it to a track,but like u said,best2start from the bottom up,NO PROB!!!
