New member that just wanted to say hi and share my ride with fellow CBR enthusiasts. I was just introduced to these types of forums through a coworker while looking for parts for my modified E30 BMW. That led to me checking for a similar resource for my bike, which led me here. This is my 1992 F2 (ex-racebike, now streetfighter)...I call it the Black Pearl. It's been a project I have been working on for about 7 years now. This bike is always in a state of 'flux' in terms of modifications and appearance...some of you know how that goes. Still some mods I want to do and hoping to get advice from you guys (and gals) and to share my experience with the group. Right now looking for a trick swingarm set up (dual sided aluminum w/bracing). Any alternatives to the $1000 JMC from overseas? This bike was done on a budget using a lot of used & eBay parts. Most of the mechanical and the paint, was done by yours truly. I am currently working on a new paint scheme to have ready by spring.The GSX-R front end and rear wheel mods were done by my race tuner back in the day (it helps to have a CNC machine). It runs well and is most at home on the track...I hit about 4-5 track days a year with it. Thanks...
