i bought an 04 cbr1000rr yesterday ...
past rides include zx-9r and zx-7r ninjas, sharing a bsa 500 & a enfield bullet 350 with friends - yamaha rd 350, yamaha rx 100, a vespa 150 (last 3 are 2-strokes and the more fun than sense during my teens ;-) !)

now comes the tricky part - finding someone to insure me with basic liability with comp/collision for under a grand per year ;-)
i think i'm going to go with State Farm or McGraw (but haven't heard anything - nor good nor bad so i'm not sure yet)
i might have to compromise my coverage though
no coverage for collision but full Uninsured Motorist coverage in case someone hits my bike
