Default Wassup guys

Hi, I just recently bought a 2002 F4i with 15k miles on it last week. The bike has some mods done to it as mentioned in my sig. I started riding beginning of this year so I am very new to the bike scene. My first bike was 2006 650r. I've totaled that bike by rookie mistake. Going into curve too fast and tried to slow down the bike and lost control of it. I have learned my mistake a hard way. I need more practice. I am still recovering from the accident so can't really ride the f4i yet. Coming from the 650r riding position, I need some time to adjust to the f4i riding position. So far, I really like the f4i. Been learning a lot from this forum about the bike. Thanks a lot guys.

Wasssssuppp

welcome to the forum. Take an MSF class if you haven't. Sorry to hear about the accident but glad you learned from it.

I did take the MSF before I even got my license. I am thinking about taking advance course to learn more. Thanks for the welcome.

Thanks. I am recovering slowly. Kind of scare to ride and for some reason, I am very alert to everything when I try to ride especially turning corners.
compare to 650r which is very forgiving, f4i is a beast. Actually rode the bike to work today which is about 9 miles and my wrists are hurting already. I need to get use to it. Never happen like this on 650r.

Probably squeezing the handle bars too hard. Make an effort to relax your grip.
