Want to say hello
My name is David and I live in Elyria, Ohio. I have been reading all the posts the last few weeks and decided to say hello. I purchased an 06 F4I about a month ago and really enjoy riding it. The site has so many useful topics and I have enjoyed reading what some of the folks have done to their bikes.
I had not ridden much on the street over the years but have lots of experience riding in the dirt. I have ridden Enduros, Cross Country and Hare scrambles on KTM"s over the years but riding on the street is a real eye opener.
I tried getting into a BRC course somewhere in our State but no opening until late fall. Well hope I can meet some riders in our area that can give me some riding tips.

Welcome. In the absence of a riding course you might get your hands on one of the many excellent 'how to ride' books out there. Keith Code, Nick Ienatsch are two that have books out, both available on Amazon. They'll give you some excellent tips about riding sportbikes and about surviving on the street.
Your dirt experience will give you a leg up also. You know more than many who begin on the street.
