Question UK newbie in need of direction

Hi All

I'm in the south of England, my past bikes include the old CBR600 (jellymould) and the CBR900RR fireblade ( i like CBR's).

After moving away from bikes someyears ago I now have taking the chance to start again, from the bottom, which is why have joint the forum.

I have a 1995/6 CBR600 Which has been laid up for a couple of years and a few questions...

1st one being.... Where do I start?? ( as I'm also new to forums) haha

I do hope you except the challange of helping me, many have tried...many have failed.

Thanks Paul982

Welcome to the forum, and back to bikes Paul.

Where do you start? Well, change the battery, oil and fuel and get it started. You will probably need to take apart the carbs and give them a good cleaning.

You will find many here will be willing to help you help yourself. We can only guide you to find the next question that you need to ask. <--- That sounded almost mystical, huh?

CBR's are the best! You've obviously got some good taste there

Welcome to the CBR Forum Paul,

Demon's on the money for a starting point and there are many CBR600 and UK members on the forum so ask any questions when you need.

Cheers, SB

check out the F2 section (probably the best on the net) for specifics but it sounds like you need to do the basics.. tires, gas, carbs, battery.. cleanup.. etc.

post pics when you can.. love the euro colors

The F3 section is probably your best bet.
