Too old for a Sportbike?
Thanks for the replies. The girlfriend wants me to get a Harley, but I think I'm going to get the F4i. I find riding extremely boring if all you do is go straight. I need a bike that likes to corner. You can't hang over the side of a Harley and drag a knee on the ground, so I guess the debate is over. I'm going to get the blue and black one.
I look forward to chatting with you guys/gals on this site.

I'd have to agree with everyone else. I'm 37 and ride a 99 F4. Most of the guys I know have Harleys, and it's funny to watch them when the road gets a little twisty or the speed gets above 70. They are hangin on for dear life to keep the wind from blowing them off the back.
Yeah, you're too old. But I'm 42, so I'm really too old.
Some of my buddies ride Harleys and keep trying to convince me that I really want a hog. But I sure don't. Maybe someday a sport tourer like the Triumph Sprint ST, but more than likely I'll stick with a middleweight sport bike.

No doubt, I am 35 and just getting into the sport bikes. So just like what every one else said, your not to old. Get what you will like. And ride safe. But some day I will have a venom from Big Bear Choppers. lol
Who says you only have to have one bike.
I have a VFR 800 with a more upright position with the heated grips and heated seat for my all year round any kind of weather riding and a CBR 1000RR for my "fun" zippy bike that I ride on sunny days and take to the track. I'm 33 and I have safety instructor friends that are pushing 50 and they all ride sportbikes and go to the track.
