Hi. New member from BC Canada. I've had an f4i for just over a year now and have read info on this forum numerous times while researching different questions I've had. My bike is the 2001 f4i with 46,000km just over ten k of which are mine in the last year.

Our riding season is wrapping up literally today(last day of insurance). So just waiting. For things to warm up some before heading out and thought I'd sign up here. I'm in my 40's and am lucky enough to have a wife who rides as well. She is on a 300ninja (2013) and we manage to do a few overnight tours a year on these bikes. We are also lucky enough to live right near one of our best riding roads in the province (hwy 6 from cherryville to Nakusp) which is also the 'gateway' to the kootenay region of BC which has endless riding options to enjoy.

After today my bike is getting put in the shop where winter maintenance will commence which will entail going over every nut and bolt and nook and crannie of the bike. Thanks to all of the members here who have shared and compiled so much information over the years. It's very much appreciated.
