a squid is a rider who:

doesnt wear the proper gear(i.e. helmet, jacket, boots, pants, gloves, etc...depending on the situation)...like if your cruising around town, a helmet, boots, gloves, a jacket and jeans would not be considered squid-like to most...but if your wearing that same gear to zip around the twisties at 70 mph, it is

stunts or rides hard and fast in traffic...doing things such as stunting and riding hard in heavy traffic, where there is little to no room for error, and you have a very high chance of hurting someone else is generally considered squid-like

buys too big or powerful a bike, just for the bragging rights and to look cool...again, a high chance or hurting yourself or others

i think i covered most of it

a helmet is most importantof all...

im not here to lecture and tell u that u have to wear ur helmet...but i had a minor get off at about 35 mph...my head hit the ground hard...my helmet looks like crap, but i was fine afterwards...if my head had hit the ground at those speeds....i would probably still be in the hospital...no matter how much u think you wont crash...u always can and probably will at some point...(o ya, i just said i wasnt gonna lecture, sry)

(/rant)

but in an effort to maintain the subject of this post...i would imagine that almost everyone considers not wearing a helmet to be squidly

Please get pants. Pants are good. After that Borat movie, no more naked men. Get pants.
