Thanks guys! All of these are great tips! I will try!

BTW, I put the money down on the bike last Friday, got an HJC (D.O.T. & Snell) helmet, and a pair of Joe Rocket gloves, and I ordered a Joe Rocket Jacket as well yesterday. Meeting the owner at AAA on Thursday to sign the bike over. Then it's a trip to the shop for a checkup and all-fluid replacement on Friday, DMV for my license Saturday morning, and ridding all day Saturday...... Can't wait... I am so excited I can barely work at work... BTW, I am starting MSF on July 6th...until then I will be super careful!

Congratulations, man! Sounds like you're all set up.
I'd be pretty stoked, too.

I know, right? The last thing I remember being this excited about was the birth of my son and getting laid for the first time..... I mean I rode bikes until I was about 10 (I am 30 now and haven't touched a bike since until I test drove the one I am getting on Thursday), but a 50CC dirt bike is not exactly the same as a 600cc speed bike...

600cc speed bike
Funny. But I hope all goes well with the wife. I think alot of us have the same problem. The biggest thing is to show her and educate her that you CAN be safe on a bike. It isn't just a death sentence. My wife HATES my bike, but she understands that I am a good rider and I dont do stupid stuff (that she knows of ) However show her how good and fun it can be.

Hahah - well now you have two women in your life so they'll both have to understand and make sacrifices.
