Default Seasons Greetings from Iraq!

First off, just like to say congrats on the great site! I was on gixxer.com and the "I'm better then everyone!" deal just got old after a while and I don't get that impression from this site at all. I have a blue/white/black 2003 GSX-R1000 and I was planning on buying another ride as purely a track bike when I came across a 2004 1000rr, slightly modded, never raced or leaned over at all by the looks of the stock tires, with 2400 miles for only $7500, and I had to grab it. I'm planning on making that my bike night/weekend warrior bike and using my zuk as my commuter/track bike.

I've spent a couple weeks or so now just trolling your site and trying to pick up as much info as I can so I could make informed decisions on what the right mods were for this bike. I went ahead and grabbed a full race Akrapovic titanium exhaust with carbon fiber can, BMC race filter, PCIII, galfer brake lines, scorpio alarm, headlight and rear vent halos, and vortex frame sliders, bar ends, and swing arm spools. Anything I'm missing for basic bolt-ons? More mods to come as soon as I leave this country for good.

I've been here in Iraq for almost 6 months now and I'm coming home on leave..... this Wednesday! I'll be picking up the bike from the dealer as soon as I got off the plane and I will take pics of it as soon as I can. Until then, here are the pictures I have of it from the dealer and one of me and the zuk.

Look forward to riding with you all,

Adrian
