Default Saying Hello!

Hello everyone,

I've recently purchased a 1991 CBR 600F2. I'm really enjoying the bike. Far more comfortable on journeys longer than 30 minutes unlike my ZXR 400.

My first big bike was when I was 17. It was a 1981 Honda CB900 Custom. The one thing I remember most about the Honda was that no matter how badly I rode it, it never broke.

I am however struggling to find a very small part for my bike. When I purchased it there was a luggage rack installed where the pillion grab rail was. I've removed the luggage rack and ordered a grab rail but one of the rubber seals/grommet has fallen off somewhere and is now considered MIA.

I can't for the life of me seem to find a reference/part number for it.
Anyone know what it's called or where I could buy one?

Hi , here is the diagram including part number, as you can see part number obsolete
https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts.../seatseat-cowl
But here's one on E-bay including rubbers
Honda CBR600 F CBR 600F Grab Rail handle F2 1991-1994 | eBay
A cheaper version would be to order a custom size grommet like this one

Thanks for the reply and the links.

The parts list I found seems to have been incomplete. Perhaps due to the grommet being obsolete.

I've gone ahead and ordered the one from eBay. Just means I'll have a spare grab rail. Though I was a bit shocked at the price of the grab rail and grommets from when they were stocked. A lot cheaper now which is good for me in this case. An intuitive idea about the automotive grommet. I admit I hadn't even considered that option.

Thanks again!
