Saludos from Mexico!!!
Hello CBR Maniacs,
I just got here while looking stuff for my 1989 CBR 1000F, I'm very delighted to see that there is a full forum open to discuss stuff related to our beloved CB's, I have mine since Sep 2004, so far it purrs like a kitten, all I have done is chenged the timming chain (guess this is the name in english), also a set of new tires and brake pads, apart from that the regular oil and filter change. The bike has 45,000 kilometers on the clock (not sure how much is that in miles, sorry!) the former owner was a doctor that used the bike for road trips only, unfortunatelly I did not get to much papers on it when I bought out, I was wondering if somebody could facilitate a copy of the owner's manual, does not matter that comes in English, I will appreciate some words of guidance on this one.
You all are welcome to come and give us a visit here, we have plenty of stuff to go an see (can you say Puerto Vallarta!!) there are to many good links to bike related here, there is a site for all bike aficionados in latin america, its called www.motolatino.com they also have sections for visitors from other places.
Well if you ever are in GDL just let me know so we can all go for some cervezas frias!!.
Saludos,
Luis
