its nice to know im not alone im the youth pastor at a small church in my community and i get funny looks when i ride my rocket to church im my shirt and tie but i love every second of it

lol im the same way i drive my car to work everyday but when i ride my bike all weekend and that includes church but i mainly just get everyone telling me to be careful and motorcycle horror stories lol

 

I get a mixed response at church too. There are some who used to ride and said they really miss it, some who are really afraid of it. The youth group obviously thinking it's kewl. There are even a couple of other riders who ride more in the summer time. But it is pretty funny. Last October we did a "judgement house" skit at our church and I played the role of Jesus, so I would come in for practice in my motorcycle gear. I always told people I could see Jesus riding a motorcycle. [8D] I mostly get the "be carefull" statement, which I try to be. But not only do I enjoy riding but there is such a big oppurtunity for Ministry in it because of the commaderie in motorcyclist. I can't tell you the number times I'm just riding and another rider will stop me and we could talk about riding for a while. It's almost like an instant friendship. It's a great way to open the door for me to share about the love of Jesus with others. I love it.
