Regulator rectifier problem
Hi everyone just a quick question about my
1995 Cbr900rr fireblade when I first got my bike I started it off the choke which it did at ease but as soon as I went to give any throttle it cut straight out after learning if I applied the throttle really Really slowly and got it over 3 1/2 thousand revs it was ok well I say ok it was back firing and so on but then I took the choke off gain it just would cut out so I checked for kinked pipes etc thinking it’s gotta be fuel but everything seemed good I then realised the REGULATOR RECTIFIER was smoking so I took the said panel off and someone had previously bodged the wires and I thought it was them as they were melted and just looked a mess to be honest so I stripped them out and fixed replaced and genuinely made good I fired it up again but it never made a difference at all It still ran lumpy so I guess I’m asking does it need a new rectifier regulator?????
many help or advice would be massively appreciated thank you 🙏
