welcome to our family... as for the five years, he probably went to meetings and had a good support group. you know 12-step program and all. I too was off for a long time, 7 years. Enlisted in military and see how much of your life changes too. Took me 7 years to be states side long enough to justify buying another bike.

The reason for not ridding for a LONG time was a bad wreck. I use to let someone else work on my bike and the guy got back on white. He put way too much oil in my bike. Well, the first hard corner, oil on the tire, you knwo the rest I and Michelle (my wife to be) went down really hard. Luckily all of traffic missed us and all that happened to her was a broken tail bone. Freaked her out so bad, I sold my bike. Man, the new CBRs are so nice!! And DEFINATELY don't let others work on my bike now. Thanks for all the tips, wouldn't be doing it without all your help.

I had a wreck in June. I got cut off by a car on the highway. My man just had a mishap and it sucks, but it's how fast you can get back on. I love it too much to let it go. **** will happen, just got to be more prepared. Always think about closing the margin of error.....good luck

My wreck was not to bad cept for the bike, totalled. lol had an old 250 vtr interceptor that i bought for 500 to beat up , and well i did.
sliped in some sand in a turn and sent my bike sliding into a tree. it all happened in slow mo too. was pretty cool ,and sucked at the same time.
