Old school 929rr
Hello all. My name is Brian and I ride 2001 CBR 929RR erion. It has very low miles and I absolutely love the low end torque that this model offers. I am in need of any advice on changing sprockets. I am looking for a little more zip and the ability to snap the throttle in 2nd gear to stand it up. Currently won't work. I love to trick ride but I am not very familiar with this bike. Not at all as responsive as my GSX-R 750. I am in Columbus,Ga and am looking to find others to ride with. I have been riding for 20 plus years. I am 40 yrs old and I feel so good when I am in the wind. Feel free to contact me about anything. Live to ride and ride to live brothers and sisters. I can't find how to post pics..
Welcome to CBRF Brian!
The 929 is a great bike. Sounds like you have a nice one.
To possibly meet up w/ other riders in your area, feel free to post up in the Regional section(s). BTW, where are you located?
As for the sprocket topic... You could go -1/+2 but your top-end would be at higher rpm. If you're not worried about that, then the above combo will give you more "zip" up thru the gears. ;-)
Glad you found us. Enjoy!

Welcome.
Are you calling our bikes "old?" They can still kick butt out there and are "new" compared to some of the other oldies around here. Love them. New bikes are fast and all that, but don't have that trunk.....
