noob wanting some advice.
Hey guys, whats up?
Just wanting some opinions here.. I had a few dirt bikes way back in HS (so i know how to ride a bike somewhat) and now I wanna get a street bike (love the CBR's).. I know all about how speed and maturity goes hand in hand, I have a 10 sec trans am that I race/drive around, plus ~160hp snowmobile, and im 35 years old too boot.
Well, I met a girl that has a bike and well, now I want one so we can ride and race together. My question is on what size. I found a 2003 954RR and a 2002 F4I with about the same miles and only a ~$600 difference..
Whats yalls intake on the subject? 600 or 954?

Dam, that's a tough one. What does she ride? LOL...
But seriously, I like the F4i a lot. It would also be a better "starter" bike (if you can even call it that). It will be plenty fast for you or anyone.
The F4i has a great record of reliability and it's pretty comfortable as well.
So I'd say F4i. But then again, with any bike it depends a lot on condition.
I find it odd that they're so close in price. Around here the 954s are generally a good bit more expensive than a comparable F4i.

She has a SV650, I think thats what it is, a Suski...
The F4I was listed at ~$3200 and the 954RR was ~$3900 which isnt that much of a difference, both look to be in good shape with similar miles. I just know on my first sled i went straight to an 800, people told me its too much, im so glad i did as I couldn't imagine having anything smaller...
