Noob to forum from the PNW, New Honda Owner
Hello all,
My name is Rob. I've been a Suzuki brand loyalist since 1978 however just purchased a brand "new" '07 CBR1000RR. No miles and the dealer had it locked away in a closet just waiting for me to come in and get it.
Since I've been a brand loyalist, this is my first Honda moto and looking forward getting to know her.
I’ve had bikes off and on, but all have been Suzuki until now. I started out getting dirty on my DS185. Orange, not my favorite color but man it was fun to rip it up. I went through a few others over the years, like my PE250 back in the day when we could just call it an enduro, as well as my RM465 is classic yellow.
I graduated to street several years later with a GS550XL. I was going through a phase then and took the gloss black finish to flat black…looked tougher. That lasted a couple of years then I had to have it, the GS1100(EX). I took a little sabbatical for ten years and purchased a more LEO friendly '08 GSX650F in 2008. She was getting loney and I just did not care for anything Suzuki has been putting out in the last couple of years.
There you have it, now a proud owner of a Honda and may never look back.
Take care and rubber side down, Rob

Great intro, Rob! Welcome to the CBRF and to Hondas.
Like OldSchool said, I don't think you're gonna be sorry. I've had Hondas all my life (except for a KLR I have now), and I have nothing but good things to say about honda. My CBR is still running like a top and it's 15yrs old.
Welcome aboard and ride safe!
