yooo. i've been looking around for bikes and i've found a 05 cbr600 f4i i'm pickin up next week. this is my first bike. i'm relatively new to riding. only rode my friends cbr600rr a couple times.

Wazzup? Couple times on a friends 600rr eh? Well since you still call him friend its safe to assume you didn't drop it While you're waiting for next week to come, check out the Motorcycle Safety Foundation to find the BRC. Get you trained up a bit so you don't drop your own bike.

nope never dropped a bike. also use to ride with my neighbor on the back of his ninja zx14 everyday to work in the summer. that thing is so big it'd scare the sh*t outta me.

yeah i've been reading all the MSF information and checking up on everything i need to know to be safe. Gear is gonna come when i sell my jeep. looking at an arai helmet with alpinestar jacket. then some really good gloves (not picked out yet).

 

05 CBR600 f4. 14k miles. dropped in showroom. 2 owners.

 

Nice... Waiting on my F4i myself. Hopefully in the next week or so. MSF offers great courses. Only thing is by now they're usually booked into the middle of summer.

Might wanna add boots to that list too

 

ouch. yeah i gotta get on the courses and signing up. yeah boots will eventually come. i heard its a pain riding a long time w/o boots. i've got a couple good pairs of work boots that should do the job for a while. not sure if they'll be as good as the "official riding boots"

take it from me, after getting hit twice sitting at round abouts get the best gear you can including boots and a good set of leathers or jacket and kevlar jeans, if i didnt id have some big holes in my knees!
