Hi all
Another Newbie here.
I am Ian, from near Nottingham in the UK
Just got a CBR1000F-H, and cant wait to get it serviced and on the road.
IF i can get the dmn seat off.!!!! LOL

Speak again soon, but please tell me how to get the seat off?

Hello and welcome to the site. Post some pics of the bike.

Usually, there is a key hole on the left side that unlocks the seat... do you see one?

welcome! yes... look for a key hole. find that and you're good to go

Thanks for the welcome.
I posted a pic in the members gallery.
re: seat. I know about the keyhole, but turning the key, unlocks the helmet lock, but does not release the seat. Hmmmm curious.

Many thanks again for the welcome and advise.
Finally got the seat off. The lock is knackered so isn't turning the seat lifting latch. Gonna take the lock apart and try to sort it.
