Hey I am new to this site. I have just purchased my first Honda, 01 929 with a 03 954 motor. I have been riding bikes since I was 18 and have had one ever since. I have always owned gixxers except for one Triumph. Anyway I don't know much about Honda. I have already figured out the charging system is crap so I am working on that now. Anyway, hope I can be of some help here and learn a lot.

You're right... the charging systems are pretty weak on many of these. More specifically, the reg/rec.
