newbie needs advice :)

hi all,

i'm 20 and new to biking and have recently bought myself a honda cbr 600 1998.

i have already had my first accident, car pulled out in front of me, i hit the front brake which locked up and slid out, i then went sliding down the road, i am fine bar some grazes and concussion but the bike needs a some tlc.

so all advice is welcome please :)

basically i have ruined the right side of the bike, luckily the guy i bought it from gave me some spare side panels so thats all fine but i need...

-a new front fairing
-new wing mirrors
-new indictors

and i need them as cheap as possible,

any help :)

zach.

hey Zach and welcome!! :-)

sorry to hear you had a spill on the bike which I assume is an F3 same as
mine by the year, I managed to get all my parts off ebay over a period of
months, mostly the winter, just a few bits to get now and I can put her back together again :-)

Good luck with your bike, keep us informed

maybe even do a pictoral restoration in the F3 forum

Be safe!!

Jules :-)

Yep, sorry to hear about your spill, but like classic said.... at least you walked away.
As far as parts, ebay can be great... but also check out the parts section here... you may find what you need.

Welcome to the forums, and good luck on the rebuild.
