newbie here....just saying hello
hey guys well im a newbie on this forum, but this will be my second bike...i had a katana about two years ago and i have been wanting another bike since i got rid of it...well this is my new one a 06 CBR600RR i will be buying in the next couple of weeks, and man i cant wait....
im going to get a jacket when i get the bike and i was wondering which would be better leather or textile? i was looking at the alpinestars T-stunt2 air flow.would this be a good jacket for me to start with?

Welcome. For the jacket I would go with leather. They cost a little more and are warmer in the summer but they will last longer and protect you more in the event of a crash. Best of luck.

Which color are you thinking of getting? This is my second bike also, I had a '94 Ninja prior to this bike.
As for the jacket, get a good leather piece if you can.
