Just found this forum and go stationed at fort bragg, looking for a group of guys to ride with and need some help with a few things on my 99 f4. love that bike to death, anyone has a thread on hid install and carb cleaning shoot them my way. hopefully I can give back as much as I take from this website!

 

Fort Bragg is a nice area, I was stationed in Camp Lejuene. I've gotten alot of good pointers from this site. In fact, I've even posted some of the tips I've gotten on my personal site. I have a 2000 F4, same as yours just one year newer. I love mine to death as well. I'm not to sure about the HID install. As far as the carb cleaning, I have a local shop here in Ohio that does our bikes for a great price. I recently put on some custom guages on mine, I've been wanting to do that forever. You can check out some guages for your bike at my club website. However, we can get other bikes as well, we just happen to list the 1999-2000 F4 guages on our site.

As Demon said, there should be a few members in your area - or at least close enough - to hook up for a ride. The F4 is a lovely bike, so post some pictures when you can.

If you use Photobucket, you should be able to post pics while in moderation. Simply paste the "IMG code" to your posts.

 

I used to play hockey 74 demon I didn't know they made motorcycle gear! And trendsetters I'm really interested in some gauges i don't know how to pm but can u shoot me one?
