Hey guys. Picked up my first sport bike a couple weeks ago and found my way to this site. So far I've used a lot of info to get the bike running in top shape. So, I decided to stop trolling and become more active on this forum as I've got the sport bike bug baaad...Anyway

Here is my bike. 1991 CBR 600 f2. My name is Josh and I come from the far east of Canada.

Still trying to figure out a way to do away with the pink.

Welcome to CBRF Josh!! That's a gorgeous F2 you've found, and she looks to be in very good condition too. Two questions for you...

Is this your first bike in general, or just your first sport bike?

And...

What do you have against pink??

Take care and have fun!

haha - Actually I sat down last night with a big roll of silver vinyl. After only covering one panel I peeled it back off - I just can't try and mask such a period correct bike. So it stays.

To answer your quesiton eweppley - This is my first street bike. I grew up riding dirt bikes and raced a season of motocross. I'm quickly learning how little the two compare. As far as cornering and bike control. This feels a lot different to me. I'm not a big guy so the extra weight in the bike is probably throwing me off a bit..

Thanks for the welcomes!

Welcome to the CBRF, man. Very nice F2.
I've never been a big fan of the pink, either, but it doesn't look bad enough to change it. Like you said, it's period correct... which makes it cool.
