Hi All,

Just joined as I've bought myself a 96 Blade project!

I'm in Southampton UK and looking forward to talking to you all.

Now to the tech section.......I have questions! 🤣

Cheers!

Chris

Welcome to the forum Fishfire,

How about some pictures before you start and to keep us entertained as you progress.

Is this the first project that you have undertaken?

Cheers
Al

@Fishfire Hi and welcome to the forum. It's cool that you're in the UK, although I'm hearing reports that it's not so "cool" there right now. Maybe update your profile so that when you post, they can see you're in the UK. It helps with setting expectations on when someone might reply if they know that a user is on the opposite side of the world. Cheers.

My first bike project, but not my first mechanical project.

I've not long finished turbo converting my Renault Sport Clio 172, which is hilarious to drive now (980kgs and 250bhp)

I'm also the owner of a Honda Super Blackbird and a Ducati Panigale V4, but I've been after an old blade for a while as Ive owner two previously.

Spent most of yesterday on the project which has been stood since 2009 and it's gone from leaking fuel as fas as I was putting it in, to now being a runner 🎉🎉

It now starts, runs and idles just lovely 😁

It's a big project! Mostly all there, but it's literally like doing a jigsaw without a picture to go by.

Biggest prob I have at the moment is locating nuts and bolts tbh!

This picture actually makes it look much better than it really is tbh
