Hey everyone, I am new to the forum. I own a 09 CBR600RR have been riding for about 5 years. I have owned 4 bikes in the past and this one is by far the best yet. Looking forward to getting some ideas/advice and possibly share my experience as well.

Welcome to the CBR Forum,

Pop into the 600rr section and have a look around. Lots of knowledgeable folk in there who share your passion for that model.

Cheers, SB

Welcome to CBRF! Post some pictures of your 600rr when you have a chance! What are the other bikes you've owned?

My very first bike was a cheap Chinese brand motorcycle. It was a 2007 Tank Topline Khaos 250cc that I bought because it was very cheap, new, learner bike, and I wouldn't have been out of any money because it was so cheap. I actually sold it for about what I paid the next summer.

Then I bought a 98 Suzuki Katana 600 because I was ready to upgrade. Again this was cheap and I was young so what I could afford. Oh man did this have some power compared to the 250 that topped out at 85 mph down hill lol. However, it is the most bulky 600 ever made lol. Everyone always asked me if it was a liter bike. The only bad thing about it was it had carbs and a lot on insurance because they considered it a "super sport" go figured. Sold it the next summer.

Next was my 2002 Honda 919.......and you talk about power and torque. She supplied my every need. I mean she had more hp and torque than my cbr600rr now and cheaper on the insurance because she wasn't considered a super sport. I absolutely loved this bike and never wanted to part ways with her. The only downside is I wasn't too keen on the single round headlight in the front (made her look older then she really was), and no windscreen but she started to grow on me I ended up selling it because my wife didn't like me riding too much, I hardly rode it because I had just joined the military, and she said I could get a sports car.

Finally my baby now. My 2009 CBR600rr. Man o man is she sexy. I bought her because when we got to out first duty station I never got my sports car and I couldn't pass up the deal. Lets just say I got her for about 3 grand and this was in 2011 and she had a little over 2000 miles. The wife agreed because we got her a bike of her own and she absolutely loves riding.

Is there any way to add images by uploading the files from the computer?

So, I went ahead and created a photo bucket account and here are the pictures. She was read and black before. Just recently painted her half black and half white. Still have to buff and polish every piece except for one but it was time to ride so I will do that whenever I get around to it.
