Same bike as me!! Welcome, and I'm sure you'll love it more every ride. If your new to riding be sure and take the MSF. Don't forget the gear either.

The MSF is a motorcycle training course for people with no riding expirience. It's a really good course that will teach you alot about riding. The upside to taking it is in some states it waives the on road test for your license and also some insurance companies will give you a little discount if you have completed it. As for gear: good helmet that is at least DOT approved SNELL certificationis not a must but it is good to have. Also you need a good set of riding gloves that are comfortable to you and also have good padding on the top of the hand and knuckles. As for a jacket you need something that is armored in the elbows, shoulders, and the back. Leather is not a must but if you can afford it then defiently go that way. I personally dont have pants but they are also important. Just go to google and search something like "sportbike accessories" and you will find everything you need.
