I love that color scheme! Welcome to the site. There is so much good stuff in here, and many people who are anxious to help, and concerned with safety first. Sometimes it is good to use the search function to help answer any "common" questions that come up a lot, plus you will have the benefit of reading many posts instead of waiting for responses. Good to have you here...see you soon.

Hi and [sm=welcomesign.gif]to the site.
Nice looking bike, brings back memories of the '87 Hurricane Pearl White/ Red paint scheme.

With your dirtbike experience you're probably way ahead of the game in terms of riding skills. What you need to be careful about is traffic awareness. Trees, rocks, and other offroad obstacles don't make unexpected movements - cars and pedestrians do. There are a lot of aggressive/oblivious/unskilled drivers out there, any one of whom could end your ride in a hurry.

So assume that nobody sees you, and assume that if someone does see you, he'll try to hit you.

Also remember you don’t steer this bike with the rear wheel. Yet!…
