Thumbs up New to the website

Hi all,
My last bike was an SV 650 Naked which I really enjoyed great little bike. But a few months ago my son was urging me to buy a CBR after I had sold the SV. I now have a 1998 CBR600f and its a great ride.
One question, on my SV I replaced the 120/60 front tire with a 120/70, pulled the forks up through the tripple clamp 5mm and it was great.
Now...I have just replaced the front tire on the CBR with a 120/70 instead of the standard 120/60, any thoughts on that and would it be best to raise the forks as I did on my SV to compensate. Any of you guys running the same on an F3.
Wheew!! Long thread.
Bazza

How do I upload a pic from 'my pictures' on my PC

Welcome to the forum Bazza.

TAYQ, there is no reason to raise the forks. But, setting the suspension for your personal preferences is your choice.

Look here for help w/ pics... https://cbrforum.com/forum/forum-hel...-posts-104022/

Last Bike.Primrose - Now Zip 1998 CBR600F3
2005 SV650

Named the SV Primrose after meeting up with Harley riders (who I know...well two of them) who were discussing what they had named their bikes, when it came to me I just said "Primrose" for a laugh and it stuck. Funny enough the discussion stopped their.....don't think they thought I was taking it serious enough ha ha!

Bazza, those are tiny pics! Primrose...that's a good one. ;-)

What prompted you to get rid of Primrose?

Time for a change I bought her new in 2005 after not riding for years had her for four and a half years, that was the first electric start bike I ever owned.
Bought Zip a little while back to see if I liked faired sport type bikes (my son pushing me to try one) and hey presto I'm really enjoying it. The idea was to get an older one with the intention of upgrading later, but I've become attached to old Zip so will be sticking with it and maybe add some upgrades later. Since I've aquired it I've added a new screen, brake pads, changed fork oil, new Michelin road 2's, and an oil change to come next weekend. Goes great.
