Guys, I have taken the plunge into the CBRs. I will be picking up my slightly used '07 CBR 600RR this weekend. It has just over a 1,000 miles and picked it up for $7,200. IMO the white is the sweetest color combo Honda has ever put together.

Here is some of my background:
Started on a 1982 Yamaha XJ750J Maxim 750
Graduated to a new 2000 Yamaha R1
Then to a 2004 R1- still have this heavily modded for the track
Bought a 2005 Honda RC51 leftover in 2006
Bought a 2007 Honda CBR 600RR- Picking up this weekend
Future Plans: sell the 2004 R1 in stock form this summerand recoup the mods- worth around $3,500 used
Then buy a 2008 Honda CBR 1000RR

I have taken 3 levels of California Superbike School
Level 1- Watkins Glen International Raceway
Levels 2 and 3- Laguna Seca Mazda Raceway last November

I took CLASS Rides School a couple of seasons ago at Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course.

I have done trackdays at Mid-Ohio, Mosport, Calabogie andShannonville with plans to hit Thunderbolt Raceway opening up in NJ this season. I already have things lined up to do a trackday at Mid-Ohio the Thursday before the AMA races there in August. The trackday will consist of Pro RacerPractice as well. Then staying for the races that weekend. Should be a smoking good time. Trackdays at Mosport and Calabogie will be the norm this season.

Looks like a nice forum. I have to take a better look around to get the mod ideas for the 600.
