Recently moved to PA with family & '87 cane. Looking forward to swapping stories & getting advice on keeping this old beauty running.

Thanks for your kind comments. I purchased her (she is far too high maintenance to be a he) off of ebay six or seven years ago, restored her to near perfect, in appearance anyway, and rode her all around eastern Tennessee for a few years. She got backed over at an intersection by a driver with no licence, registration, or insurance (we're very lucky that way) and I restored her again. We're up to only 22,000 original miles as life and five children take precedence over motorcycling most of the time. I do love having this opportunity to share her with others who love these fine machines and to see that she still has some very well maintained siblings out there. I hope I can get her to a family reunion sometime.
