Hi Im Glen
New rider aboard.

Just bought a cbr600 f3 model 1996.
the bike seems to be well looked after and lovely condition.
Will upload a pic soon.

I rode the bike back roughly 3miles from where i bought it from and was a lovely ride i think, bearing in mind i got my module 2 next week so i know nothing about bikes really, but i started it today which was ok and rode it down the bottom of the road and it stopped so i tried to start it again and it wouldnt have it, after the 4th go it started so i put it into 1st went to pull away and it lost power and wouldn't start again.

Any ideas what this could be or recommendations on what i could do myself without taking it to a garage and paying.

cheers

Welcome to the forum and riding!

Is your fuel petcock turned to the on or reserve position? Is there fuel in it?
Been there, done that...
