Hello all. I'm a long time biker who is returning to the fold after a looooong absence. I have in my garage a 1993 CB 900F2, and have just bought myself a 1998 CBR 600F3. It has a few problems, but for the price I paid I wasn't expecting a bike fresh out of the showroom. I hope that with the help of this forum, I will be able to get my CBR running right and back on the road pretty soon. I'm really looking forward to enjoying my first ride on it, and getting back on 2 wheels too.
Cheers.

Neil

Yes, it's a nice looking bike, but it has a few mechanical issues I need to sort out. The main one at the moment is the 'effing Datatool S4 alarm keeps flattening the battery. As soon as I can work out how to get that pile of crap off it's going to meet "Mr 2lb lump hammer"! I'm fed up with having to disarm the bloody thing every 2 minutes while working on the bike.

They have an internal battery, all you need to do is to remove it and then disconnect the alarm from the bike’s battery.
