Welcome to the forum.
Is this your first bike, or just another project?
Get some pics up soon. Consider a build thread to document its return to glory.

Good luck with it!

Welcome to the CBR Forum Lee-jon,

Lots of good information and plenty of people with experience of rebuilding/upgrading the 600s on the forum, so ask any questions you have.

Cheers, SB

Hello and welcome!
I got my F2 brandy new from the showroom right when I finished high school...lots of great memories of one of the best bikes I have ever ridden. Have fun with the resto and post some pics!

I think you'll really like it here. Our two-wheeled brethren from across the pond are a fun bunch to chat with. Stateside here we also have some folks who are a blast. There's a ton of good experience to rely upon, too.

Mechanically, there's not a tremendous difference between the F2 and the F3 and F4, but of course the F4I guys have the benefit of fuelie and computers working for them.

I think we (F3ers) have some kind of a computer too - not sure if the F2 bikes did. Anybody remember what the computer controlled? Ignition, perhaps?
