Howdy dudes and dudettes

I just signed up to this forum and thought I should introduce myself. I had a 125 KTM for a year and a half and then did my test for the big bikes. Went and bought myself a 2001 cbr6f and thought it was the muts nuts. Then sold it 6 months ago n bought the new 2012 cbr6f. Tried out a few different models n ended up back with the cbr. Just can't seem to find another model as comfortable and as smooth a ride as the cbr.

Anyway...enough rambling from me...hope I don't bug you guys too much with the questions .

Talk to you soon.

Can anyone help me out please?

I am trying to upload a pic of my bike into this thread. I tried copying and pasting the URL into the insert image icon in the "reply to thread" screen but when I preview my post it just shows a red X.

I saved my pics on Photobucket.com.

Also tried putting at end. Still red cross appearing.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks folks.

Welcome to the CBR Forum Clansman,

No such thing as bugging on this forum. If you have a question ask it, and usually you'll get an answer quickly.

How's the weather up there?

Cheers, SB

You are fixed up and ready to fly now. Unfortunately your screen name had me wondering at first ... across the pond here we have issues with certain clans

From here out all you have to do is click the insert image icon and paste a link.

Sweet ride ... you should enter her for ROTM. And welcome to the boards! Hope you enjoy your stay here

Nice bike, being a 2012 bike how many miles and if you don't mind me asking, how much cost wise? Does it have C-ABS? if so what do you think of it? Welcome to the forums!

Default Thanks

Howdy all

Thanks for the welcome.

Chainstretcher...I just clicked onto what you were saying...bet my Forum name looks a bit dodgy to u guys in USA. Means something totally different in Scotland LOL. What is ROTM by the way?

Flamingdeath...yeah it is the ABS model. Its ok...not really slammed the break on too hard to try it out to be honest but it sprang into life during one run when i had to break unintensionally and seemed to be OK.

Only covered about 800 miles...Weather's been a bit rubbish up here in NE Scotland so never got a chance to run it in properly as yet...hoping for the snow n coldness to go away before getting some more miles it.

No dont mind mate...it was £6900 with the Akrapovic can thrown in and got it from a Honda dealer with 0% APR over 4 years. Pretty sweet deal I thought.

Cheers
