Exclamation New To the Scene, Need Help

First and foremost thank you guys for any feedback. I recently started to ride and bought a used 2005 F4i and have had a bunch of things changed to get it running. But I've notice when i first start my bike it rev's up to about 3K-3.5K and once I'm in gear go down about 100 ft on the road and go back to neutral my RPMs drop to 1K and sometimes turns off. There are times that when I start the bike my Fi light blinks 3 times and pauses for few second and repeats like 3/5 times before it goes solid. As mentioned once I'm riding and stop at a light the Idle RPM is about 1K. Please help!

I'm not sure, I have yet to plug it in or anything. I just know that when i start the bike it would blink 3X then pause and repeats. Is there a way that could plug it up to a home diag. and go from there. Im completly new to everything.

Here's the manual, as you can see there's not a code 3 ,so you will have to count the flashes
