Default To the new riders

I have seen a lot of “new riders” on this broad lately, and they all seem the have the same sort of out look “the 2 fast 2 furriest” syndrome. You guys that are new watch what you are doing. This has been said over and over again, and I am getting tried of reading all of these bad stories of new riders going down. You need time to learn and to get used to your bike; you’ll not be a puss for playing it safe until you learn, and if your buddies call you a puss for playing it safe then there not your friends. I am new to riding on the road as well, ya I rode dirt bikes for a long time but from dirt to road is two different ball games, use your phuxen head and stay alive. Take it from anther new rider and all the riders on this board that truly know better. We would rather wait for you to catch up with us then wait to see if you are going to live.

Ride safe, use your head.

Pro
AKA Rob

Best piece of advice I got from good riders was 'Don't try to keep up'. Actually that was second best, the best was 'watch out for the chippies, they'll give you herpes'. Either way, they are words to live by.

Proeve,

Great advice!! The only other thing I can possibly add to your words of wisdom would be for new riders to get through an MSF course of equivalent. The lessons learned in the courses are worth the time spent!

Good advice.... Good to hear someone using their head and being safe.

This can't be said enough to all the new riders........take the MSC, it's worth it.
