Hello and welcome to the site. Not from your area, sorry. Do you have the owners manual?

nope.... hoping that you guys can tell me from personal experience.. like if i ride the bike hard should i change it sooner, or should i just change it according to the book?.. by riding hard i dont mean stunting, i mean the occasional cutting people off or just poping open the throttle..

LOL. Got ya. If your not racing then depending on the oil that you use you could change it every 5000 or so. I used to change mine every 2,500 but that was before I switched to AMSOIL. Now I change it once a year and if i wanted to i could change it every 25,000 miles. I'm an independant dealer for AMS but dont let that sway you. I became a dealer so that I could buy AMS @ wholesale prices. I use AMS for all my motors.

I would lube as often as you change your oil. A tune up every 10,000 miles or so. Thats just me though

Hmmm. $4,500 seems a bit on the high side. I only paid $5,500 for my 01 929rr. It only had 4,100 miles on it. It came with lots of extras. GPR stabilizer (dial style), Jardine RTone (polished aluminum) slip-on, Flush mount blinkers front and rear, Hot bodies undertail kit (fender eliminater), Apine Stars S-MX color matched riding jacket w/ body armor, HJC color matched helmate w/extra smoked out lens, and a smoked out windshield. The bike is mint.
