New Rider!
Hello Everyone,
I am Tim and I just bought my first bike. I got a 1994 CBR600F2! I think I got a great deal on it. It needs a little TLC, but I'm okay with that. Now I just have to wait to pick it up!!!! I need warmer weather to get here fast. I can't wait.

Welcome to CBRF Tim!! It's nice to have another PA boy here.
I'm from central PA.
Congrats on the purchase of your new bike. An F2 is an excellent choice for a first bike as long as you respect it respect your own limits as well. I have an F2 (see below) and just love the old girl to pieces.
Since you are a new rider, you may want to consider taking amotorcycle safety course ithis coming spring. It's a good way to cut your teethon riding and will reduce your insurace rates to boot.
Here is the F2 forum if you haven't already found it.

Alright here is a pic! Its in really good condition for a '94! The only thing it needs is a chain guard. I found a really nice one on ebay so that's pretty much taken care of. I am going to get a new chain too, as the one on the bike looks pretty worn. Other than that everything is good. It starts like a champ.

Oooohhh she's pretty Tim. Nice bike!!
You may want to consider replacing the sprockets while you are replacing the chain. Dependinghow many miles are on the clock, the teethmay be worn to match the old chain.
