Talking New rider :-)

Just recently started riding, thanks to my boyfriend. He has an 03 zx12r, and I found riding with him to be quite fun, so I decided to grow a (small) pair and get my own bike. I decided on an 03 F4i 600 to get my feet wet with. Had to lower it 4" so now I can actually reach the ground without tipping! Yay!!

Welcome to the forum!

Congrats on getting your own bike! We have more than a few ladies around here that enjoy having their own bikes. Make sure to ride at your own pace. Don't try to keep up with those that have a lot more experience than you do. Most of all... have fun!

Get some pics up and show it off.

ah, another one bitten by the bug. f4i is a friendly ride, but still quite capable.

Thanks everyone. Not looking to do anything dumb that's for sure. After all at 28 I tend to find myself having more common sense for the most part. Let me see if I can upload a few pictures of the bike so far. Right now its pretty basic looking with the silver/red scheme, just lowered 4". Looking at doing a satin black with pink reflective stars. Doubtful on doing much else for quite some time, but I atleast have to make it my own.

Good on you Tattoodled......you go girl!

I'm also one of your brigade.....a female who has just started riding.

Yep, riding is a whole lot of fun, albeit bl**dy scary at times! Some great advice from the other members, good to go at your own pace (and no-one else's!) and get to know your bike and your own capabilities!

Stay safe and enjoy your riding!

Cheers,
Robster
