Just got this nice looking great running 92 CBR600 F2 for a steal... She runs good.. Moving to Japan in 2 months gonna take her to the homeland.. Looking forward to gleaming a lot of info off the site as I plan to do all my own maintenance... Thanks in advance...

I must say that is one clean F2! Is that paint job original? Shows a long way that bike's been looked after, a great deal from what I can tell. Any mechanical woes? How much on the clock? Doesn't Japan have left side traffic? So you're probly be needing a new headlight as the pattern is the wrong way for riding there. One would think getting aftermarket parts there shouldn't be too hard either. Any questions you have or will get, just take a stroll around the F2 section as most of them are already answered somewhere but if you can't find just boldly ask, we're here to help.

Thanks for the warm welcome all..
Mattson, yes this bike has definitely been cared for.. Everything seems to be original.. With 26k miles it looks really good... Rides great no mechanical issues except the piston seal on the front brake master cylinder is allowing a couple of drops when riding.. Rebuild kit is on ots way here Friday.. Rebuild over the weekend.. Should be easy..
Yeah, Japan has left side driving.. I didn't even think of the high beams... I'll have to check that out and go ahead swapp that before shipping ...
Cornice..yup you guessed it military, moving from Jacksonville, Fl.. Yes first bike... I wanted to get something I wouldn't be afraid to work on... I think I got it..

I'd reckon the light swap would be easier there as a used light from any junker should logically have a flipped beam pattern. A lot cheaper at least. It's not hard to do and you only need basic tools so it can be done in a parkng lot some evening.
And its the low beam that counts cause now your pattern is like __/ and thus blinding the oncoming cause the curb "wing" should be on the left.
