Default New From Missouri

I just picked up a 1997 F3. It had been sitting for a year, so its currently not running. I drained the old gas (**** yellow), and cleaned the carbs as well as the tank. I put it back to gether last night to try and fire it up, and it just cranks. Tried starting fluid but nothing. So spark is next on the check list. Although I dont believe the fuel pump is working. (no humming/buzzing, and no fuel was being pushed out with the hose off the outlet).
I dont have any pics of the bike all together bc i tore into it as soon as i got it. But I will try to post some before too long.

Thanks in advance for all of the info and help im sure i will need.

welcome to the forum *****. be sure to share your problems in the f3 section; your knowledgeable fellow riders are more likely to see and respond to mechanical issues over there. hope you get things sorted.

What part of Missouri you located? Maybe we can get some rides together if you don't mind being seen with an old codger like me
